This Porsche 911 Turbo is an original and well-maintained example of the brand’s 997.1-generation supercar. Featuring a 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged ‘Mezger’ flat-six producing 480bhp and 457lb-ft of torque, its power is supported by a permanent four-wheel drive system. The current mileage on the car reads 45,455 miles.

Porsche quotes a 0-60mph time of 3.1sec, which when launched in 2005 makes it the fastest-accelerating 911. It will also pull to 100mph in 7.1sec – a gain of 0.3sec over a similarly equipped Turbo. At 196mph, it’s 2mph faster overall.

First registered on September 2006, this 911 Turbo has three previous keepers on the log book, and its fourth private owner acquired the car in June 2020.

Introduced at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, the 997-generation 911 Turbo was 41kg lighter than the 996 model. It was the first Porsche production car to feature two BorgWarner variable turbine geometry turbochargers.

The S also gains Porsche’s excellent seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox, with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, and SportChrono package for more aggressive throttle, damper and stability control settings at the press of a button. Other developments include the latest 911 Turbo’s four-wheel drive hardware and PTV, or Porsche Torque Vectoring, which varies the drive to each individual rear wheel for more neutral cornering and spectacular traction.

Presented in its original shade of Cobalt Blue, this 911 Turbo retains a deep and even shine throughout. There is evidence of light some stone chips on both the front bumper and some small paint marks around the badge area. Demonstrating even shut lines throughout, there is no evidence of any panel damage whatsoever, and no scratches or dents.There is small amount of corrosion on the wheel arch behind the drivers side front wheel, as shown in pictures.

The glass and badging are free of imperfections, while the electronically-retractable rear spoiler is in fully-operational condition. The 997 retains its original Turbo-specific 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. These are in good condition with no signs of kerbing or damage to the centre caps.

The interior has a full Black leather upholstery with a small amount of wear on the drivers bolster (shown in pictures) has black leather upholstery throughout, and the seats remain in excellent condition.

This 911 is equipped with the Sport Chrono pack – with the factory-fitted stopwatch present on the dashboard – as well as an integrated PCM with sat-nav and upgraded Bose sound system. Electrically controlled heated memory seats are a lovely upgrade on the example too.

The most recent MOT test was in Jan 2020 at 44,800 miles, resulting in a clean pass with no advisories.

Wearing matching Michelin Pilot Sport tyres and have approximately 5mm of tread remaining. The car will be supplied to its next owner with its original handbooks, stamped service history and supporting invoices, as well as two keys.
