This Porsche 911 Turbo is an original and well-maintained example of the brand’s 997.1-generation supercar. Featuring a 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged ‘Mezger’ flat-six producing 480bhp and 457lb-ft of torque, its power is supported by a permanent four-wheel drive system. The current mileage on the car reads 30,900 miles.

Porsche quotes a 0-60mph time of 3.1sec, which when launched in 2005 makes it the fastest-accelerating 911. It will also pull to 100mph in 7.1sec – a gain of 0.3sec over a similarly equipped Turbo. At 196mph, it’s 2mph faster overall.

First registered on September 2007, this 911 Turbo has three previous keepers on the log book, and its fourth private owner acquired the car in June 2015

Introduced at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, the 997-generation 911 Turbo was 41kg lighter than the 996 model. It was the first Porsche production car to feature two BorgWarner variable turbine geometry turbochargers.

This Porsche’s has the excellent short shift gearbox in manual , which is always the drivers choice. Only around 20% of these models are available in the manual option now as people have issues with the tip-tronics of the time. Other developments include the latest 911 Turbo’s four-wheel drive hardware and PTV, or Porsche Torque Vectoring, which varies the drive to each individual rear wheel for more neutral cornering and spectacular traction.

Presented in its original shade of Grey, this 911 Turbo retains a deep and even shine throughout. There is very little evidence of any stone chips at all, and the vendor describes it as in excellent condition. Demonstrating even shut lines throughout, there is no evidence of any panel damage whatsoever, and no scratches or dents.

The glass and badging are free of imperfections, while the electronically-retractable rear spoiler is in fully-operational condition. The 997 retains its original Turbo-specific 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The Rims are sat on Bridgestone Potenza tyres on 235/35/19’s. These are in good condition with no signs of kerbing or damage to the centre caps.

The interior has a full Black leather upholstery with very little wear anywhere on the seats at all. The seats remain in excellent condition.

This 911 is equipped with the integrated PCM with sat-nav and upgraded Bose sound system. Electrically controlled memory seats are a lovely upgrade on the example too.

Wearing matching Bridgestone Potenza tyres and have approximately 5mm of tread remaining. The car will be supplied to its next owner with its original handbooks, stamped service history and supporting invoices, as well as two keys.

Offering an appealing specification and in original condition throughout, this Porsche 997 Turbo is a supremely capable high-performance coupe, which is practical and refined enough to use every day. Its secure four-wheel drive dynamics means it would be equally at home on a sun-soaked continental jaunt as on a rain-swept journey on the Welsh moors or the North Coast 500, so this 911 is ready to go wherever the next owner desires.
